KASOL THE LAND OF HEAVEN................
- THE LAND OF PARADISE................KASOL Kasol is a village situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar to Manikaran in Himachal Pradesh, northern India. It is located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters. Kasol is partitioned into Old Kasol and New Kasol on the either side of the bridge. The shops in the village of Kasol have western food and clothes. There is only one school which has classes up to 7th grade. The nearest college is in Kullu. People in the village also grow a few vegetables and sell it. There are many restaurants on the both sides of the main road of Kasol along with Foreign Money Exchange. The nearest ATM is within 25 kms at Jhari while all other facilities are availaible at Bhuntar (40 kms). Plenty of guest houses and hotels are available at quite cheap tariffs. Bhuntar is the nearest airport which also has a couple of banks and ATM centres.sting G with the Budget Hotels when you IF you interseted to visit kasol valley please notice my following advice.... 1 KAsol valley is mainly a natural beauty you mainly see no devolpement is set up at that place e.g lack of hotels facility, food items available in small quantity etc. 2 Another thing to notice is that pleaese if you intersted in smoking and also in hashish(a kind of chemical drug) so kindly do not purchase anything from this place because if you buy any of of these thing from this place the locals would call police and without any charge you are arrested.................. please remind my this point because that is purely true point that you remember if you ever visit to kasol 3 I will tell you a short story of my friendRAVI............................................................. ### hi guys, recently i visited kasol and found something very interesting there that is still in my mind...if some one knows more of that please let me know....
